Team Fundraising, 2008 Silly Boat Regatta, Child Development Centre, Nanaimo, BC
Putting the FUN in FUNdraising:
Silly Boat teams are pushing ahead with fundraising efforts. Here are some upcoming events that will support our teams in reaching our goal of $75,000.
Woodgrove Centre:
Burger and Beer Fundraiser, Saturday June 3 starting at 5:30 pm at the Somerset Pub. Tickets are $10 each and will be sold at Guest Services while quantities last.
Car Wash Fundraiser
Saturday June 17 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the east parking lot of Woodgrove Centre. We will have our mascot out for this event, balloons for children, a few games the public can participate in for a donation to CDC.
John's Bedroom Barn:
Ongoing Raffle for beautiful bed frame - $2 each or 3/$5 - June 3rd 10 AM - 3 PM 2nd annual BBQ fundraiser - proceeds to the CDC in conjunction with Wolf/Wave Car Wash all held at 1707 Bowen Rd.
Canadian Western Bank:
Canadian Western Bank is organizing a car wash / hot dog sale at our branch on Friday, June 16, from 11 am to 3pm.
Canem Systems Ltd:
Beer & Burger Night - May 28th - Piper's Pub $10.00 per person (50/50 draws, Silent auction) Tickets available at Canem Systems Ltd. 9-B Boban Dr.

The Silly Boat Races are coming! McDonald's wants you to be part of the fun. The next three Saturdays McDonald's will be selling silly straws, Ronald McDonald House wristbands and balloons at one of our locations.
