10,000 People, One Place, One Purpose!

Coast Capital Savings and the Nanaimo Child Development Centre welcome you to take part in this year's exciting events! Join us Sunday, July 15 at Maffeo Sutton Park for a spectacular day full of fun, camaraderie and of course, silly antics! Race day festivities continue with music, performers, and free family activities featuring Coast Capital Savings Wally's World.

Other family events include a Sport Zone sponsored by McDonald's Restaurants, along with a Children's Mini Regatta sponsored by Woodgrove Centre.

Since 1984, Silly Boat has been a premiere event that has raised awareness and money for the Nanaimo Child Development Centre (NCDC). The inaugural Silly Boat Regatta, organized by 1570 CHUB Radio raised over $4,000 for children in our community. Now the event is brought to you by Coast Capital Savings and the Nanaimo Child Development Centre and plays host to nearly 10,000 participants and spectators.
