Browse 25 years of Silly Boat photos & memorabilia while enjoying
musical performances by:
- 2:00 PM - Raincoast Music - Jerry Paquette & Alyce Paquette
- 3:00 PM - Rick Scott, award winning singer, songwriter and actor
- 4:00 PM - Gilligan's Island look-a-like contest: Come dressed in your
favorite Gilligan's Island character and join the Quality Foods Team -
S.S. Minnow. Winners of the contest win a "three hour tour" aboard the
actual S.S. Minnow the next day (July 19, 2009).
Sunday, July 19th (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- 8:00 AM - Boat Building begins
- 1:00 - 3:00 PM - Races
Free family activities (10:00 - 3:00)
- 10:00 AM - Coast Capital Savings "Wally's World" for face painting,
crafts and games
- 11:00 AM - McDonald's Restaurants "Sports Zone" with various sports
events
- 11:00 AM - Woodgrove Centre's "Children's Mini Regatta" with mini boat
building, games & colouring. Do you have a budding artist in the family?
Take some time to have them enter the contest to design next year's
Silly Boat poster (children 12 and under)!
With over 50 teams registered thus far, you won't want to miss the fun
as we celebrate 25 years of Silly Boat!
